3. Batac, Ilocos Norte (Home of Great Leaders)
Batac is the newest city in the province of Ilocos Norte. Batac is the home town of former Philippine president Ferdinand Marcos. It is also the birthplace of Gregorio Aglipay, the founder of the Philippine Independent Church (better known as the Aglipayan Church).

4. Laoag City (Ilocos Norte, Provincial Capital)
Laoag City is a 1st class city in the province of Ilocos Norte. It is the capital city of Ilocos Norte, and the province's political, commercial, and industrial hub. "Laoag" (Ilocano for "the place of light or clarity"), is an old, flourishing settlement. Augustinian missionaries established the Roman Catholic Church in the area in 1580 and designated Saint William, the Hermit as its patron saint. One of its notable mayors was Rep. Rodolfo Farinas.

5. Paoay, Ilocos Norte
Paoay Church (also known as the St. Augustine Church in Paoay) is a historical church located in Paoay, Ilocos Norte. During the Philippine Revolution in 1898, its coral stone bell tower was used by the Katipunan as an observation post. Paoay Church is part of the UNESCO World Heritage List, and declared by Former President Ferdinand Marcos as a national treasure. It currently is a property of the Diocese of Laoag, Ilocos Norte.

6. Bangui Windmills
The Bangui Windmills are located in Bangui, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration attests that the Philippines has a mean average of about 31 watts per square meter (W/m2) of wind power density.The project sells electricity to the Ilocos Norte Electric Cooperative (INEC) and provides 40% of the power requirements of Ilocos Norte via Transco Laoag.

1. Vigan City (Ilocos Sur, Provincial Capital)
The City of Vigan is a 5th class city in the province of Ilocos Sur. It is the capital city of Ilocos Sur. It is a World Heritage Site in that it is the most intact example of a Spanish colonial town in Asia, and is well-known for its cobblestone streets and a unique architecture that fuses Asian building design and construction with European colonial architecture and planning.
